Julien Franck Bouadjie Kamgang, known professionally as Tayc, is a French singer and songwriter of Cameroonian descent. Born on May 2, 1996, in Marseille, France, he moved to Paris in 2012 to pursue a career in music.
Tayc began his musical journey with the release of two mixtapes: Alchemy in 2017 and H.E.L.I.O.S in 2018. These projects showcased his unique blend of contemporary R&B, Afrobeat, and Afropop. In 2019, he released his debut album, Nyxia, a triple album that earned him widespread recognition.
Continuing his momentum, Tayc released Fleur froide in 2020, followed by its sequel, Fleur froide – Second état: la cristallisation, in 2021. These albums further solidified his position in the music industry, leading to international acclaim.
