Shodade Solomon Segun, known professionally as Shoday, is a rising Nigerian singer and songwriter based in Lagos. He gained recognition in 2021 with his debut single “Dey For You,” released on Valentine’s Day, which showcased his catchy vocals and melodic style.
Shoday’s music blends Afrobeat rhythms with contemporary sounds, reflecting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. His notable tracks include “Screaming Beauty,” “Casablanca” featuring Ayo Maff, and “FINEE” with Wxze Music.
In February 2024, Shoday released his debut EP titled “BRKFST,” which further established his presence in the Nigerian music scene. He has also collaborated with prominent artists; for instance, he featured alongside JargoKush on Poco Lee’s track “Hey Jago,” released in March 2025.
