Joeboy

Joeboy, born Joseph Akinwale, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter known for his smooth Afro-pop and R&B sound. He gained fame in 2019 with the hit single Baby, followed by other chart-topping songs like Beginning, Don’t Call Me Back, and Nobody (with DJ Neptune and Mr Eazi). Signed to Mr Eazi’s emPawa Africa, Joeboy released his debut album, Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic (2021), showcasing his melodic style and romantic lyrics. In 2023, he dropped his sophomore album, Body & Soul, further solidifying his place in the Afrobeats scene.
