Kanye West, now known as Ye, has recently released his eleventh studio album, “Bully V1,” marking his first visual album. Announced during a Vultures 2” listening event in September 2024, this concept album is solely produced by Ye and showcases his return to soulful samples and classic production techniques reminiscent of his early work.
Accompanying the album is a black-and-white short film directed by Hype Williams, featuring Ye’s 9-year-old son, Saint West. In the film, Saint engages in a wrestling match, wielding a mallet against opponents, set to the backdrop of the album’s tracks. Ye cited an incident involving Saint as the inspiration behind the album’s title, portraying themes of confrontation and personal reflection
